Level Summary

• Typically located at the site, directs and coordinates all on-site activities associated with the completion of a project.
• Major, complex project having more than 5 million construction man-hours or a total installed cost of more than $1 billion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages field construction, site maintenance, site infrastructure, site engineering, site procurement, material management and other site support activities.  Responsible for the development of the construction schedule and monitors production to assure on-time and on-budget construction completion.
• Reviews cost and schedule reports and makes analysis to assist in reducing costs and maintaining productivity and schedule commitments
• Establishes a culture that promotes safety of the workforce and quality of construction deliverables.  Drives commitment of the Construction Team to meet these objectives. Conducts regular project inspections and advises project supervision of work progress, quality of work and conditions requiring attention regarding safety.
• Coordinates work with subcontractors to ensure all subcontract work is within project scope and specifications.  Administers project policies and procedures to subcontractors.
• Primary interface to client/owner for all site activities.  Provides timely reports to the client/owner for project status. Coordinates with engineers, client/owner, inspectors, etc. to isolate project design and/or specification problems and assists in developing solutions to these problems.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field from an accredited curriculum is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and/or years of experience.

Experience

• Minimum of 15 years’ industrial construction experience, including 4+ years managing large sized industrial construction projects.

         Compensation on All our search assignments exceed           $250,000+ and many $1,000,000+
